This was the first time I've seen Cindy at Alpena Orthopedic. I have had very positive experiences up until my appointment with Cindy. She was very rude and condescending. Eventhough I understood her concern about me " overdoing" she was very accusatory and made it clear she was going to "document" my over doing it. I wasn't upset with her cause I can be a diffcult patient but when she assused my wife of not doing enough she crossed the line. My wife and I were never give any direction about after surgery care so I went by what I was told on my pervious surgeries and listened to my body. I was never told to take a baby aspirin until Cindy scolded my wife and I for not doing it. We were never told how important it was not to move my arm until Cindy scolded us for it. I won't be seeing her again and will be talking to Dr. Beltnik about her behavior. She was horrible to work with.

Good expertise and knowledge, but I had trouble with communication between My Michigan Health, Thunder Bay and McClaren, all of whom I need for upcoming surgery.

Very thorough though I felt overwhelmed by the amount of material she covered in a short period of time. Still, at the end I fully understood the preparation process for upcoming surgery.

The first person we saw couldn’t figure out how to use the blood pressure cuff. The next person who took me for X-rays was cranky and rude. The third person Becky was very nice and friendly. Sad she is leaving. Cindy was not a good listener. Even told me to stop talking. Made me even more anxious and confused.
