What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Support staff needs to get a personality check. She was grumpy, rude and a bit condescending. I especially don’t put up with that type of behaviour from someone who is a MA and I am a [OCCUPATION] for 25+ years. I would never act that way to a patient. However, the PA was friendly and helpful. Just spoke a bit fast. She got the stitches out without too much pain and that’s amazing based on the fact that they were painful before she started.

Not a fan of her. Could hear her whispering in the hallway with another colleague about my problems. She was short/snippy with me. Made me feel stupid for not being at the point in recovery she expected me to be at. Not impressed with her professionalism.

Excellent experience with Cindy, but other staff in the halls were not very courteous to someone in a wheelchair. I had to politely ask them to let me through a couple times.

Overall a very good experience. Recently post-op so still in considerable pain, definitely not the fault of the provider. I will recommend Christina, Cindy, and the entire staff!

Alpena orthopedic office, the drs and pa’s that work here are excellent they listen to the patients and offer options for treatment because not everything fits a patient’s individual person.

This was the first time I've seen Cindy at Alpena Orthopedic. I have had very positive experiences up until my appointment with Cindy. She was very rude and condescending. Eventhough I understood her concern about me " overdoing" she was very accusatory and made it clear she was going to "document" my over doing it. I wasn't upset with her cause I can be a diffcult patient but when she assused my wife of not doing enough she crossed the line. My wife and I were never give any direction about after surgery care so I went by what I was told on my pervious surgeries and listened to my body. I was never told to take a baby aspirin until Cindy scolded my wife and I for not doing it. We were never told how important it was not to move my arm until Cindy scolded us for it. I won't be seeing her again and will be talking to Dr. Beltnik about her behavior. She was horrible to work with.

Good expertise and knowledge, but I had trouble with communication between My Michigan Health, Thunder Bay and McClaren, all of whom I need for upcoming surgery.
