I was not able to get an appointment with the Oscoda Health Park due to my primary Dr being on vacation and the secondary Dr on medical leave. A friend recommended this office to me and was pleasantly surprised by it not being busy and able to take me in after a few minutes. Everyone was pleasant, friendly, and professional. I had a bad cough and had concerns about a recent lung/nodule issue. The Dr explained some of my concerns. She prescribed a antibiotic and not a steroid due to a possibility of weaking my immune system. I was impressed and very comfortable. This office is a "hidden gem". Keep up the good work!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Am happy with my experience with the staff and Nurse Practitioner. I appreciate the extended hours, makes it easier to get care around my work schedule. Everyone was kind and courteous, listened to me and answered all of my questions.

It's a walk-in clinic didn't know we had one. So I would tell my family and friends to go there

This was my first time in the walk clinic, could not get into my regular doctor 5 to 6 days and need to be on meds for bad respiratory infection . I am so very thankful she. Was there. For me ,and happy with the location 😊

They could feel comfortable going to see her should an issue arrive as far as her knowledge in urgent care. I was glad she was available and would see her again if needed.

I would definitely recommend the walk in clinic if your primary cannot get you in and you don't want or need to go to the emergency room! I love that there is a Nurse Practitioner available more often at this facility! Cheryl was great!

The staff was exceptionally helpful and so pleasant! Dr. Cheryl Layton is an amazing Doctor, who listened so thoroughly and made me feel life a person, not a paycheck! Also I was able to get in and out of the office within 1.5 hours on an emergency basis and that was with an injection as well!!! I love this place🙏🏼

The service and care were good. I would rather go to my regular family doctor when I am ill than the walk in clinic. Lately it takes 4-6 weeks to see my primary care doctor which doesn’t help when you are sick.

Highly recommended. When I got a bad bacterial lung infection I went there at 0700 and they were working on me by 710. Really grateful they are near by.

Excellence in care, very friendly & caring staff. Cheryl was comfortable with me & her diagnosis ...and so was I. I would definitely use this facility if necessary. 30 min was well spent!

I am so happy that this walk in office now has regular hours. I came here because my normal provider was not there on Friday and they didn’t have a substitute on staff at Oscoda Health Park who would see Medicare patients. I was rather shocked - have never had this issue in the 8 years I have been going there.

Showed up near the end of the day, didn't get seen til after closing hours, and it seemed like they rushed me out the door. Seemed like a waste of time.
