1. I have had multiple interactions with the medical assistant, Janeiisha(sp?). She performs the patient intake in a thorough and professional manner. She introduces herself correctly.She has a positive attitude and puts patience firs.,she takes vitals correctly, She maintains patient privacy, and she appropriately gives patients information about what to expect when the doctor comes in to the exam room. In my experience, Lee Health medical assistants are not trained in a consistent fashion. Janeisha has a good skill set and could easily be someone who trains other medical assistants who join the Lee system. Most of the medical assistants I have encountered lead me to believe that there is not appropriate training and mentorship for staff at the medical assistant level. 2. Dr. Brown is the best Physician I have encountered in Fort Myers Florida. She does her own medication reconciliation with patients, which I personally believe all physicians should do and sadly they do not. She reads the medical records. She reviews lab results in a timely fashion and explains them appropriately with patients. She runs an efficient practice, but still provides adequate time for the patient. She has good diagnostic skills, good critical thinking skills, and writes clinical summaries in the chart which are incisive yet complete. In short, Dr Brown is a gem and the Lee Health system would be wise to do everything in its power to keep her as a member of their Infectious Disease department. Lee Health would be wise to provide Dr. Brown with whatever clinical resources she needs to continue to be the capable clinician that she is.

From Kiera to Ganiecia to Dr Brown, everyone is cheerful and pleasant. Dr Brown respectfully listens to my comments and concerns and explains clearly my test results. She is specific about next steps and positive about my future

Dr communication was terrific and at my level of understanding. Staff immediately followed up after visit by providing phone number for tech support for my chart, for help troubleshooting telemedicine issue.

The hallmark of a good doctor in my opinion is that they are patient with their patiients. At my age of 88, I have many doctors in many specialties. We live in a fast pace hurry up world. Some of the specialists I see violate the speed limit of patience . I know that in this growing community where we live, many doctors have too many patients that prevent them from giving adequate time to. I think that every doctor owes it to their patients to proivide adequate time to their care.In that respect, Dr. Brown is the best of the best.She is at the top of my Hall of Fame. She has taught me how to care for my Infectious diseaseAnd , In so doing, has Been patient with this old patient .

Dr. Brown provided exceptional care during a very difficult and emotional time for me. She listened with genuine compassion, explained my condition thoroughly, and carefully reviewed all possible outcomes and treatment options. Her ability to combine clinical knowledge with true empathy made a profound difference in my experience. When I was struggling mentally and feeling afraid, she treated me with dignity, patience, and kindness, ensuring I felt seen as a person rather than just another patient. I am deeply grateful for her care and believe she is a true blessing to those she serves.

I interacted with 4 staff members, one of which was Dr Brown. The check-in assistant was very professional, courteous and efficient. The two physician assistants with whom I had very little interaction were also courteous and professional. In the 25yrs I've had to see ID doctors for routine blood work and medication maintenance, the two that rate highest for me was my first doctor who left the country for professional reasons after caring for me for approx 13yrs and Dr Brown. The level and depth of knowledge and attention to my every concern by both of them has always been impressive. Taking the time to be engaged and attentive Is a quality that I find many doctors today do not offer sufficiently.

We had an excellent nurse that took us to the examining room. She did a great job and should be commended. I was also impressed with Dr Brown. My wife and I both feel she will do an excellent job with my treatment

Dr. Brown was excellent--driven by evidence based medicine. I am an MD and have not been that impressed by your providers. Dr. Brown is a stand out. Keep her happy. MA Janeisha was excellent. I did have to ask her name, but she was friendly, professional, competent with procedures, and took great care to ensure patient safety and follow office protocols. She is the best MA I have had a Lee Health. The majority have been poorly trained and don't instill conficence in the patient. The office staff at the front was excellent--very professional.This is the best office I have encountered with Lee Health.Keep this team together. I practiced medicine in a Northern, urban, academic medical center. This is the first Lee Health office encounter that really wowed me.

I can't say enough about Dr Brown, she listens to every concern and questions I may have and takes extra time to explain things to the "T" . Her nurse is also a super sweet person and everyone at the front desks are always very pleasant each and every time I am there. Couldn't ask for better, they are a wonderful caring and helpful group.

Let’s face it, no one likes to be diagnosed with an infectious disease like I have. But if that happens to you, the first thing you want is to get the best physician in that specialty to take care of you. I have that doctor. Her name is Johanna Brown, MD.
She is highly intelligent, educated and experienced to start with. She is excellent in explaining the medical condition and treatment. She also tells you how you can be involved in your own care.
She is never rushed and is a good listener. She is also very courteous and friendly.
If you live on the Southwest coast of Florida or visit here during the season and if you have an infectious disease, I highly recommend Dr. Brown. She is the best of the best.

Let’s face it. No one likes to be told that they have an [ ]. Particularly [ ] Like I have, but if you have it, the first thing that comes to mind is to get the best physician in that specialty. I am fortunate enough to have the best, Johanna Brown, MD. She is bright, well educated and has a wealth of experience. That helps give you some confidence that you are going to get the treatment you need. She is excellent in explaining your medical condition and treatment. But, she also makes it clear how you will be involved in your own care. She is a good listener and is not rushed. She makes you feel as if you are her most important patient. I feel that I am getting the very best treatment available for my condition. I highly recommend her.
