I am in my late 80’s and have a number of medical problems. In the complex world in which we live, I believe in specialists even though I value my primary care doctor greatly.
Infectious Diseases is a new specialty to me although I now have a condition that qualifies
Dr. Brown is a true professional in this specialty. She is well educated, well trained and has plenty of experience.
Although she is very pleasant and has a warm personality, she makes it clear what she expects her patient to comply with the treatment she is providing.
Because of my age, 87, I have encountered many doctors in many specialties.

I have had 3 different physicians at Lee Health [ ] in the past year or so. Dr. Brown is, in my opinion, the best. She is very professional and explains [ ] very well. She and her staff are all very friendly and pleasant to work with. My wife and I use many of the doctors in different specialties in Lee Health. Dr Brown is at or near the top of the list.

Dr. Brown is an exceptional doctor. She explains every thing in detail. She is not rushed in explaining her opinion to her 87 year old patient. She laid out a clear program for my treatment. I am very pleased and impressed with my first visit with her.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Brown; but she had familiarized herself with the treatment program that I had been placed on by Dr. [ ]. That program had gradually improved my condition. And so Dr. Brown seemed to think she would keep me on it unless things change.

All the front desk personnel and the nurse that took care of me were very caring and informative.I have to also add the wonderful caring of Dr. Johanna Brown, she is the most caring ,compassionate and knowledgeable physician,she is very authentic and really makes you feel at home.Every time i go to a Drs office .i feel very nervous but with Dr. Brown is like talking to a member of my family, she is definitely an asset to Lee Health.

Dr. Brown and her staff are excellent, everyone is friendly and professional. Dr. Brown explains everything and if you have any questions or concerns she gives you a clear concise answer. You’ll be welcomed by staff, I have never waited more than 10 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment with Dr. Brown, take it.
