Dr B. Phala carefully listened to concerns, and explanations of conditions. She asked pertinent questions. She determined care needed, asks for input from me, and takes necessary steps to fulfill follow up very timely. Dr B. Phala cares and it shows.

She is young- so no retirement in the near future- She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring. An excellent Dr. My only complaint is the time frame of making a visit and having a visit is longer .

Going through different computer systems, downtimes, & merging with another hospital network has given us a few challenges keeping up quickly with/medical history. But overall very pleased with the care from Dr Phala & her staff. I’m glad to be able to see an actual doctor AND the same Dr year after year. Means a lot!!!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Phala truly cares about my health and wellbeing. She listens to my concerns and always explains my plan of care that we both agree with. She doesn't make me feel like "just another patient" like so many MyMichigan PCP's do. I suffer with major depressive disorder and insomnia and she focuses on those ongoing issues every visit and addresses issues as needed. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. B as my doctor knowing I will receive the best care, treatment, and support.

She is quick to respond to my need for an appointment or concerns. She also listens to my concerns and addresses them. She never brushes me off and looks into everything if there is an issue. I feel heard and respected.

Dr. Brittany is a very good family doctor alongside her husband also. They listen to you and answer as much as they can and if they can't, then they research it and try to get an answer for you.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. B. Phala has accepted my view of modern medicine, that physician's can do better than provide"one size fits all" help. I explained that it had been my misfortune to be subjected to personnel who prescribed the same meds to all patients , whether the drugs or procedures worked for the individual or not. They would not extend themselves to think of alternatives, even when it was obvious the patient was allergic. This holistic attitude makes Dr. Phala a superior physician, worthy of praise and professional recognition.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Phala is an excellent PCP, who asks questions, listens to my concerns, and always works to resolve any issues that I may have. I choose to drive 20+ miles one-way for my visits, rather than see a local doctor, because I have such confidence in her as my doctor.

Highly recommend Dr Phala. She is very attentive, respectful and makes me feel very comfortable talking to her about any of my medical needs and just about my all around life. The staff is also so friendly. I always enjoy my visits there.
