Dr Cox is awesome , the best surgeon I've seen in my [age] years, with multiply surgeries. His bed side manner is top notch. Great Dr. and Great person! Highly recommend him.

The receptionist was rude, talked to us like we were an inconvenience. Dr cox did a terrible job of explaining what was going on with my son's broken ankle. He did explain the importance of being careful to not roll it. Just overall felt frustrated with the visit

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
My husband had surgery with Dr. Cox last year and we were extremely pleased. Even though it was a very complicated surgery, he has recovered completely and very satisfied with the results. Now, I have an injury to my bicep and he is working with us to have our insurance approve an MRI. I have faith that I will receive the same quality of care.

Dr. Cox was very knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. This was our first time seeing him and we were very happy! He is the only orthopedic doctor that we will go to from now on.

I've had both rotator cuffs repaired and would recommend anyone to him hi. And his staff are the best and I'll probably have him repair my knee as well

I had to wait 5 weeks for an appointment with a torn meniscus now I have to wait 6 weeks to get shots in my knees. I wish that I could get in sooner

I would recommend Dr Cox to family & friends. His office has always been efficient and courteous……I love Dr Cox’s gentle bed side manner. No one wants surgery but he made me feel comfortable about moving forward with that option.

I would not recommend this provider. He is always in a rush to get out of room when doing routine checks, before my surgery he was very considerate and spent a lot of time explaining the procedure and post-op, once I had surgery though he was very disinterested in my concerns, what I wanted for my care, and overall being in the room during visits, he will leave after five minutes and say “all is good! Nice seeing you!” When I am sitting there complaining about issues that warrant the doctor’s attention.

When i needed to know what meds to take and not take before my surgery. The pre operation staff from the alma hospital never contacted me to discuss my meds. So i had to make a decision on my own reguarding my meds. Other then this issue i had a fantastic experience with doctor cox office
