Dr Cox made my painful shoulder pain (rotator cuff tear) go away! He is an excellent surgeon and a good listener and does everything he can to mitigate pain while ensuring the safety of his patients. I highly recommend him!

Finding out that you have a complete tear of the ACL in your knee is very difficult diagnosis to hear. However, Dr. Cox is a very thorough and caring doctor who explained what this meant and was a great doctor through the surgery and 1-year recovery process. Dr. Cox took the time to listen and answer my questions before my surgery and then in the follow-up appointments after my surgery. He was encouraging, yet realistic about what I could do during each phase of my recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Cox for anyone who needs orthopedic surgery.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Cox is caring and very professional. His appearance, and greeting, when entering the exam room is reassuring and leads toward trust. Even if you have a small problem like a sore tendon or even a trigger finger - if Dr Cox feels it is affecting the quality of your life, he will help! He always ends the sessions with a personal comment. We are lucky to have this knowledgeable and experienced doctor in our town. I miss his private practice on Three Leaves Drive. The environment there was less hectic. The atmosphere was more warm and welcoming. I felt he spent more time with the patient. At My Michigan, especially my last appointment, it felt so rushed. I had things I wanted to ask, pain I wanted to describe, but he seemed very busy.

Dr Cox is an excellent Dr but my last visit I waited in the room a hour and I felt he was rushed. We never discussed me having physical therapy but the following day I get a call setting up my physical therapy. Just a little confused.

Dr. Cox performed knee surgery on my 15 year-old daughter [Removed patient name to protect privacy last week]. Everything went great with surgery. He is always very timely, professional, listens carefully, and answers questions in great detail. We are beyond happy and satisfied having him as a doctor for our daughter.
