Appointments have had very little waiting in the waiting area and typically see the staff and physician before the scheduled appointment time. They are very accommodating with scheduling appointments around personal schedules.

Dr. Mayne was knowledgeable but not really personable. His answers came very fast because he has heard it all before. Buthis advice was sound and I will follow it.

Dr. Mayne and his staff are doing it right. Everyone is very courteous and helpful. I always expect to wait when I come to see a busy surgeon such as Dr. Mayne. But, he is always on time and spends a lot of time making sure that all my questions are answered. I can’t tell you how impressed I am by Dr. Mayne and his staff.

The scheduler hasn't got back to me yet, wasn't there day of appointment called later that day never got back with me called next day never got back with me. I don't think this person is good for business.

I am a new patient at Dr.Mayne's office and was pretty much satisfied with my first appointment. Dr.Mayne answered all my questions pertaining to my condition and scheduled surgery. The only thing that I felt that could be improved was the pre appointment registration procedure at the registration desk. While I was registering my personal information with the attendant, another patient was standing about (3) feet away listening to everything I was telling the registration employee. I would think she should've asked her to take a chair until she was called to the desk. Other than that, everything went smooth.

The receptionist was a fill in. She told me I didn't have an appointment. She finally found me. I was to pick up a surgical packet. She told me she knew nothing about it or where to find it. Brad the medical assistant was wonderful. He printed me off a packet for me. He saved the day.

I have always appreciated and respected Dr. Mayne, and trust him more than most. However, I am devastated that it appears that insurance companies are playing a significant role in my care and causing me to live with significant pain needlessly and selfishly. MRIs and x-rays should be done first, not after PT, which often causes more pain if the issue is osteoarthritis! Test first, manipulate based on the tests, not insurance opinions!" The surgeon is better positioned to decide, not insurances who have not sworn the Hypocratic Oath and are simply for profit

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Would definitely refer any of them to Dr Mayne. Very compassionate, understanding, explains things so that you understand what he's saying. And asks you if you have any questions. On my last visit with him, after my hip replacement, I was 'released' from his care; but was told if I had any problems, questions, etc. to call his office and he would be more than glad to see me.
