What I liked about my care. The caring and compassionate way Dr. Barrett Z McCormick MD, Ms. Sit down with me and my husband and explain every detail about my MRI. Showed us the film of my MRI and explain all of the important Questions and answered them. I was very please with Dr. McCormick, If I should need to see him in the future I certainly will returned to him as my Urologist. We as Seniors need a caring Doctor like him.and his Staff. Thank you and Thank you to his Medical staff as well. :):)

From appointment scheduling, to financial review, to doctor's appointment, the clinic's team was outstanding. Everyone was very polite and sincere. The doctor took all the time necessary to explain the CT scan, his evaluation, and clearly answer all my questions. The cleanliness of the facitity spoke volumes as to the pride of the maintenance and services team. I cannot imagine a better clinic than MD Anderson. Thank you for helping me get through this.

I was treated very cordially from the front desk and everyone else that followed. Every employee along the way was pleasant and respectful. I saw Dr Barrett McCormick, MD who was outstanding and very pleasant. He explained everything in great detail and was happy to answer questions from my wife and myself. Dr. McCormick takes his time during appointments. Explains the situation and the options thoroughly without rushing through the appointment. I transferred my case to him from another provider and he actually familiarized with my history and medical records prior to our initial meeting and explained things that might previous provider did not mentioned.

The place is peaceful, and the staff was amazing! Dr McCormick and his team were professional, informative, and very caring. Dr McCormick was very thorough and explained procedures and options and the processes of each one in terms we understood. We felt more comfortable with my future after visiting with him.

RESPONSIVE TO MY CONCERNS. CLEAR, UNDERSTANDABLE ANSWERS TO MY QUESTIONS WITH FOLLOW-UP CLARIFICATION WHEN NEEDED. CAREFUL TO UNDERSTAND THE SUBJECT AND DETAIL OF MY INQUIRIES - IN-PERSON AND ONLINE THROUGH THE PATIENT PORTAL. EXCELLENT ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND CARE IN RADIATION TREATMENT - COMPLETED MORE THAN -1- YEAR AGO = NO BURNS, NO DAMAGE TO INTERNALS/ORGANS/BODY DUE TO METICULOUS CARE IN SETTING EQUIPMENT PARAMETERS WITH DR AUGSPURGER [BAPTIST SOUTH / MD-ANDERSON], AVAILABLE WITHIN MINUTES WHEN RADIATION TECH's CALL FOR ASSISTANCE IN PROBLEM SOLVING, OR TO VERIFY SETTINGS BEFORE ACTIVATING THE MACHINE. I ALMOST GOT ROPED IN TO GOING TO AN INDEPENDENT CANCER TREATMENT CENTER OFF OF JTB [TERK] = CONSTANT EQUIPMENT BREAKDOWNS, POOR QUALITY CONTROL, LOUSY CUSTOMER INTERACTION/SUPPORT . . . AND WORSE. I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE EXPERTISE, COMPETENCE, AND PROFESSIONAL APPROACH OF EVERY EMPLOYEE WITH MD-ANDERSON BAPTIST SOUTH, AND DR MCCORMICK, INCLUDING HIS TEAM, AT MD-ANDERSON SAN MARCO. I HAVE HAD TO GO TO MAYO FOR CARE UNRELATED TO MY CANCER, AND ONLY THEY ARE ON THE SAME LEVEL WITH WHAT I EXPERIENCED AT MD-ANDERSON. GREAT JOB, CONSISTENT HIGH QUALITY OUTCOMES! NO ONE IS PERFECT, MEDICAL CARE IS FULL OF UNKNOWN OUTCOMES, UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES, BUT EVERY EFFORT IS MADE AT MD-ANDERSON TO MITIGATE THOSE REAL-WORLD PROBLEMS WITHOUT DECEIT OR DISMISSAL - RATHER ADDRESSING DIRECTLY IN DETAIL, OR RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY THE TRUE ANSWERS IN THE RARE CASE THAT WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO DOES NOT KNOW THE ANSWER. I FOUND THEY WILL TELL YOU WHEN THEY DON'T KNOW SOMETHING, AND DO THE WORK TO FIND THE TRUTH, WITH FULL EXPLANATIONS FOR THEIR VIEWS. THEY MAY BE SOMEWHAT EXPENSIVE, BUT THEY DELIVER THE GOODS = MUCH BETTER OFF IN THE LONG RUN.
