Dr. [last name] and Susanna [last name] were amazing. Dr. [last name] with her knowledge and kindness really listened to me, respected me and put me at ease. Susanna rolling around on her scooter bringing such a smile, cheerfulness and she sat and listened to me also. They were such a pleasure to have has my medicinal team. When I went to Dr. Majko’s office the medical assistant was pleasant and kind and very professional without being stuffy and even the precious girl that checked we out-such a sweet smile as attitude. I raved to Dr. Majko about all the staff in hospital and out and so appreciate not just their care and knowledge but the attitudes, the respect for me and the encouragement they gave me. Top notch staff and although I’d rather this not be the situation I’m in, I look forward to working with them in the future.

All my doctors at MD Anderson, including my hematologist are top notch. They listen and are willing to discuss and consider alternative therapy and treatment options. This is very important to me since I do not trust Big Pharma. They really seem to care for their patients. And they have no problem taking time to discuss things and answer questions. They do not rush me and really try to help me understand not only my diagnosis, but how to help me manage my health. Very appreciative of them and the fact that I do not feel like a number or dollar sign.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly but the main thing I liked was my doctor, Dr. Majko. He seemed to really listen to me and understand my concerns. He was willing to give me another bone biopsy to convince me I wasn't dying in the next few months. Not just because of that. He said it had been 3 years and was justified. But he did prescribe it for me to give me some peace of mind, more than anything I feel, and I really appreciated it. If it turns out to be bad news, I feel I will be in excellent hands to guide me through what lies ahead. And I feel he will be honest with me and not just always say, "Everything is just fine" without giving me any proof that this is true. I'm very grateful that he is willing to take me on as a patient.

Dr Majko listened to everything I said and clarified so many questions that I had. His team and him were so awesome! It was my first visit with him and I couldn’t be happier with anyone else. He made me feel welcome and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable to ask any questions at all. You guys need more. Dr Majko’s working for you!

Dr Majko is absolutely the most wonderful doctor!! The office staff is so polite and attentive. Dr Majko is always on time which I appreciate so I don’t miss time from work. Thank you so much for that!! Dr Majko is so easy to understand and so thorough. When I leave his office I have a complete understanding of everything we discussed!! What a great personality and soft spoken and attentive! I would never want to go to any other doctor. Keep up the great work, I have only great things to say about MD Anderson!! I appreciated the kindness and personal care that I received from the moment I walked into the building - the person at the welcome booth, the person at the financial office who walked me to the doctor’s waiting area and the person who registering me at the blood labs, Dr. Majko’s kind nurse, etc. The view in the Hematology waiting area is spectacular and very calming. Having a navigator nurse is a unique experience and very much needed when a patient is overwhelmed with health issues. I appreciated all the information that was given to me. The lab technician went above what I had expected to help me with all of my lab work in order to ensure that there were no duplicates, as I also had lab orders from my doctor at Mayo. And finally, Dr. Majko who took the time to go over my health situation, listened while I explain my symptoms, my past biopsies, my dermatologist’s concerns, etc.. He explained what test wereneeded to be done and what I should expect. He put my mind at ease. I have been to many medical centers and feel that the personal care that I received at MDAnderson on 8/22/25 surpasses care that I have received at other medical centers. I have been telling my family and friends about the personal care that was given to me. I hope that this medical center continues this excellent standard of care.
