My mother passed away two years ago from a rare form of cancer. Amanda Kafka has been excellent at explaining my bloodwork results & which levels (there haven't been any thank goodness) that would be troublesome. She is more thorough & knowledgeable than any other primary care physician I've seen.

So Dr. G (forgot how to spell her last name) is my primary but Dr. Kafka works with her and I’ve seen her before, so I was okay with seeing her instead, and she was really helpful in answering all the questions and concerns I had about why I visited. Like her a lot, would totally have her again for future visits.

She went above and beyond to explain how my chart works and reassured me that my prescriptions will be taken care of even when I move. She also did extra research to make sure I could get my mammogram in time before I move.

I appreciated she took my symptoms seriously and ran tests to confirm something was going on. She prescribed meds to address what was a likely cause of the symptoms and provided information on my next steps if symptoms are not getting better by the end of the week.

She is good! She is a bit cold sometimes, but I’m sure that helps to keep the appointments moving and getting to the facts fast. Not at this particular appt which was good, but others prior I have felt rushed and didn’t feel comfortable bringing up other topics that aren’t always critical. One time I was 5 minutes late to my appointment start time and was turned away. I’ve never had this happen before and was really disappointed and hurt. I wasn’t a consistent offender of being late. It would have been nice to be alerted that we need to be more conscious of being there at the arrival time instead of the start time.
