The Jacksonville Radiation Oncology Department is outstanding! The entire staff is supportive and knowledgeable. From the time you check-in and see those smiling faces at the front desk, your anxiety slowly disappears. The technicians are kind and caring, and listen if you have a concern. The doctors, nurses, and physician assistants are wonderful and easy to talk to as you go through your treatment.

Alexandria Young was my provider. She helped me with my concerns. Helped me figure out who would address other issues I had with my cancer treatment. She mentioned some resources that I had not thought about. It’s helpful when the doctor and nurse don’t feel like it’s not their concern. Even if it wasn’t her specialty she helped me figure who to see and what questions I should ask.

Because every time I go there, I always feel welcomed. The staff there no matter what department they’re in treat you as if your family they understand what you’re going through, in a verification and understanding towards you and I like to fight that they don’t mind explaining to you without all the medical terms so that you can understand precisely what’s going to be going on. My opinion, I think MD Anderson is truly a great place to be when you need this kind of care. I truly believe God brought me to this facility.
