I always tell my family how much I appreciate Dr. Smits. She is the only provider that has helped me. She's upbeat, personable, wonderful explaining things in terms I can understand and gives me choices regarding my care.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Smits is always so very friendly and attentive. She saved my life and I will forever be grateful. Another doctor had miss diagnosed me and no treatment was given. I saw Dr. Smits a day later and she diagnosed me accurately, placed me on antibiotics and within two days I was feeling better. Without her intervention I would have continued to get worse. I was very ill.

Dr Smits takes the time to explain my medical condition and the treatment she recommends for me. I have never felt that she is in a hurry to see another patient and I always feel that she’s spending as much time as needed to address my medical issues.

Dr. Smits took my concerns about the symptoms I was experiencing very seriously. I sent her a message on my chart late at night and had a virtual appointment with her the very next day. She listened to me and prescribed me antibiotics for my infection. After feeling sick for the past 3 weeks, I am finally feeling so much better and I am grateful to have a primary care physician like Dr. Smits.
