After relocating to GLADWIN after 41 years with the same primary care Dr. we are so fortunate to have found Dr.Smits! Her and Kinsley are the best! 👏👏👍😀

Dr. Alex always has time to listen to any concerns & makes sure everything she explains is understood..By far the best family Dr I’ve had.. Very caring on a personal level.. I’ve always left my appointments very satisfied.. I wish all Dr’s had the disposition of Dr Alex.. Make sure & keep her happy so she never leaves !!

Having many potentially serious issues - including genetic issues - it's a tremendous relief to have a doctor who takes things seriously and is on top of them. And is also a great person to have a visit with in the office!

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I have numerous health concerns - including genetic issues that can be life threatening. Dr. Smits ALWAYS makes me feel that she has a very good grasp of what is needed for my care, offers suggestions, and is always on top of things I hadn't even considered. I recommend her to anyone - especially family members.
