What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I have only had my first appointment for transfer of care/review of history/establishing care. However, I was impressed with Dr. Power. He sat down and dug into my records, asked questions, listened to my response and answered my questions. I have a good feeling about him.

He was thorough and very knowledgeable. I wish the labs were discussed sooner but he probably had a lot of patients he saw during the week. I liked he talked to me throughout the visit so l knew exactly what was going on with my visit. The only thing l didn’t like was l try to tell the office he didn’t call in a prescription but the office didn’t believe me and l had to get the pharmacist at my sure involved in it.

Attentive. Careful listener. Emotionally supportive. Well-informed on all medical areas pertinent to my care. Please do all you can to retain this provider. MyMichigan has a very poor history of retaining good general practice providers.

Dr power listens to all your concern and explains what’s going on. He will give you options of things that can done. He talks in layman’s terms so can understand. Very thorough. Best Dr I’ve had over there in quite awhile. Wish it was easier to get family member under his care. Wait time is a year for new patient.

Dr. Power is awesome! He always takes the time to discuss and explain everything we're covering. We review the goals from the last visit and set new ones to achieve before the next appointment. His office always follows through on what they say they'll do, which is something I haven't experienced with other providers in Mid Michigan. If they tell you they're going to call or send a refill to the pharmacy, they always deliver as promised. This is why I chose Dr. Power as my primary care physician, and I recommend him to anyone seeking a professional and competent practitioner.

This physician is fine if you are experiencing typical issues. Because of the way My Michigan health is orchestrating the physicians time allotment, you will only have time to address a single, specific issue. Highly frustrating for both the patient and the physician.

Dr. Power is an excellent Primary Care Physician. He’s clearly knowledgeable and highly qualified medically, diligent, and effective in communicating. He always follows up appointments very well with written summaries as well prescriptions and orders for tests. I appreciate at the end of appointments when asks if there’s anything else’s I need. He’s great.
