She talked to us on a level we coulf relate to, not over our lrvel of understanding. I have a knowledge of mechanical aptitude that is very good for my school training. My knowledge of medical things is above my understanding. Saying: brilliant in some things,, dumb as a rock in other things.

I really appreciate how she ensures I feel heard and actively involves me in decisions about my care. She is a wonderful doctor and person. She went out of her way and took the time at Christmas to provide gifts for my developmentally disabled clients and deliver them personally when she was off. Dr. Alejandra De Santiago is their PCP and has been for a long time. You don't get very many doctors who would do that so for her to take time out of her busy schedule to make sure they got these gifts for Christmas was so compassionate. We love her and appreciate her.

I was quite happy. She was very knowledgeable about my previous medical provider and it made this transition for me feel quite smooth. She answered some questions on my meds i needed. And a swollen hand I've had to deal with. 👍
