Alec was awesome with my son who has special needs. During the annual check-up Alec, as well as his assistant, Ginger, were caring, patient, understanding, and provided great recommendations for various health concerns. I highly recommend Alec as an excellent provider.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
He was efficient at getting help for the issue that the visit brought me in for and also went above and beyond to solve other issues during that visit due to a migraine that was starting to flare up worse as the day went on. He reviewed and talked things over and sent a referral for the main issue before I left the office and even made sure the place was near me as I drive quite far to see them in their practice.

It was my 1st time meeting him. He was very kind and knowledgeable to my needs and ordered more testing in regards to my past health experience.

Every time I’m anxious or nervous they always get me calmed down. They always listen to everything I have to say even when I can’t describe what I’m feeling completely. Excellent care overall you can tell they all care about helping to make you feel better and I feel like I can ask Alec anything without feeling embarrassed. I definitely recommend going to this facility because they really are great and understanding and always try their absolute best to help you feel better every time. Also Alec is hands down the greatest doctor I’ve ever had in my life and I’m so glad I found out about him years ago I will never change my doctor if I don’t have to he’s really that great.

Dr. Bergman was on staff while my family doctor wasn’t available and I needed an appointment to be seen in person that day. I highly recommend him. He was very friendly and professional and met my healing health needs.Definitely a 5🌟rating!

Alec is very caring. He listens and follows through. My husband and I have been seeing him for a few years now and prefer to stay with him. The only thing that I think the office could improve on is returning phone calls in a timely manner and perhaps hiring more office help to help with that. Also, being able to get in for emergency appointments quickly if possible & when needed.

This doctor listens to you. Talks about the situation and comes up with an answer. He orders tests has no problem doing that to find out what exactly is going on. If you are depressed or down in the dumps, he listens very caring to.

It can be at times hard to get a timely appointment. When I called in in January for an appointment with Michelle, I was told of a 3 to 4 week wait, and I should seek out a ready-med if I needed care sooner, and I did that with a non-MyMichigan provider. This does not happen often but it does happen when I most need to see someone. Plus when I do call in for an appointment, even when I am seeing follow-up care for an active case, I get a lot of "but why do you need to see a provider" questions from the scheduler. I am a 30+ Year regular patient at this clinic.

Front desk person was on phone, looking at social media when I arrived. I stood right in front of her for over 30 seconds without her welcoming me. I just took a seat. When medical assistant came in to see if I was at appointment, she initially said no but then saw me sitting down. She proceeded to explain to me I should have checked in. I did not mention to her but did let the med assistant know.

I felt listened to, not judged, and had an excellent experience with Dr. Bergman. I would recommend him to anyone. He offered a solution to my problem and very quickly followed up with my next steps if they were needed. Extremely satisfied!

My PCP has been on maternity leave several times. I do not hold that against her by any means, but it has affected my continuity of care. However, the PA Alec Bergman has been an excellent stand-in.
