Keep in mind, due to my background as a degreed psychologist with a lot of pre-med medical, my understanding of metabolic and physiological issues is likely better than the average Trinity Health patient. Dr. Weiss is receptive to discussing in more detail when questioned. Since this is "just" a wellness exam, and as I'm rather "well" by normal standards for a 73 year old, discussions were more around metabolic issues and my perspective on orthomolecular approaches to maintaining health.

Dr. Buxton is genuinely a very nice man. He and I have established a wonderful relationship. He is always very kind, easy to talk to, and he takes the time to listen and discuss my concerns.

She’s a type of physician that you want
one who sticks with you through thick and thin, dealing with caring for your health, making sure you’re on the best medication for you
And when you’re having problems with your new insurance policy and previous medication’s are not being approved by your new insurance company,
she will go to bat for you and then look for a way for you to be able to be taken care of with another medication.
I absolutely adore her and so thankful I was referred to her.
And her nurse Veronica she is just the very best also. Both of those good women are a wonderful team.

Dr. Buxton is a respectful, knowledgeable physician that seeks the best possible resolution to my medical concerns. He explains clearly and in a manner that is easy to understand. He also includes me in making the medical decisions that he feels will address the issues. I find Dr. Buxton to be a trustworthy, cordial individual and the best doctor I've had at St. Al’s.
