Satish Puttaswamy Gowda, MD

Dr. Gowda, and Terri his assistant, are extreme professionals in their care and treatment. He is the third Pulmonology physician I have consulted since the start of my chronic illness beginning in 2008, and by far the most knowledgeable. He has great listening and teaching skills. His staff is considerate, answers phone inquiries promptly, and answers my multiple questions, all so important to me, a patient. Even with a busy schedule and with all the stress of these last years, he and his staff have been most helpful. I am a retired nurse and really appreciate having Dr. Gowda as part of the Northwestern Medicine's Pulmonology Department.

Ankit Bharat, MD

Dr. Ankit Bharat is a fantastic and excellent thoracic surgeon. He performed extremely difficult surgery on my left chest wall and removed a large sarcoma with clear margins in 11/2020. He is a thorough and extremely experienced surgeon and took on my difficult surgery successfully. He always takes time to answer all my questions and concerns. I never feel that he is rushing or in a hurry. He makes me feel like I am his only patient.
