Please read the above recommendation: (Re-posted) I have been wanting to write a note of gratitude for sometime regarding the care at NM OBGYN. I can not express enough how truly kind, patient and knowledgeable both Dr. Kathleen Salus and her MA Jamie are. I have been a patient of Dr. Salus for almost twenty years. Dr. Salus is one of those doctors who truly takes the time to listen to her patients. She genuinely cares about their feelings, both physically and emotionally. Dr. Salus makes her patients feel comfortable in every way possible. Whether she is taking time to present options for care, or simply inquiring about my son Ben whom she delivered almost twenty years ago, Dr. Salus makes me feel genuinely cared for. I would trust Dr. Salus with any of my medical needs. In addition to Dr. Salus and her wonderful physician care, there is also the most wonderful MA Jamie on her team. The best way to describe Jamie is like your best friend or sister. Jamie makes everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. Jamie greets her patients with a positive and welcoming smile. She is smart, kind, and reassuring...even to those who may be nervous or apprehensive about the visit. Jamie takes the time to listen to any pre-visit questions or concerns patients have. Jamie took her time to listen to my struggle with weight that I had gained and feeling terrible to step on the scale. Jaime reminded me how we all go through times of feeling nervous or frustrated about our bodies, but that we were all so much more that just our physical bodies and that we are all deserving and worthy of kind care. Jamie made me feel relaxed. Truly, if doctors offices had more people like Dr. Salus and Jamie, I believe that more women would not be so inclined to skip needed health appointments due to anxiety or a fear of experiencing a bad situation. I have spoken with many friends and colleagues about how important it is for women to feel comfortable to go to their appointments, especially for preventative care such as mammograms and gynecologic care. I have heard so many stories of women being treated in ways that are not kind, especially regarding gaining weight and body BMI. This treatment only makes women feel uneasy about returning to doctors appointments and therefore, deciding to forgo needed care. It happened to me and I skipped a couple of years physicals because I felt embarrassed and shamed. Thank goodness, I was able to remember that my health is important and I deserve to receive excellent care, despite gaining some weight. I have personally recommended Dr. Salus and Jamie because they are both women who care about women. It is so apparent that they want to best for all women. I am grateful for both of these women and would highly recommend to any woman in our community. Thank you to Dr. Salus and Jamie. You are both amazing women and we are so blessed to have you caring for people in our world.

He is an excellent doctor who spends time to explains everything to you; answering all your questions.

Dr. Bemiss is very thorough in his assessment. He’s informative and gives you opportunities to ask questions you may have. Dr. Bemiss explained everything point by point. I left his office well informed and confident that he has a plan for my condition.

Dr. Bemiss explained it to me very well step by step the result of my LFT and my CT scan with the clear picture of my lungs and I left the clinic with full understanding of what I need to know. I left the clinic with a big smile😀

Dr. Weston is a excellent professional physician but one who has the time to talk about my health issues and advise me with wise knowledge. Dr. Weston leaves me with a understanding that he cares about me. And makes every effort to show this fact to me.

I can`t begin to explain just how great Dr. Krishnan is he performed bladder cancer surgery on me and I believe he is the finest surgeon there is. He spends time with you and answers any questions you have. You won`t have many questions because he is so through in explaining everything. He is truly a fantastic Human being and I am so grateful to him
