She is a good doctor but I feel like my visits with her are a little insensitive. I recently had my 6 week pp appointment and it went well but I feel like it would have helped if the exam were more of a conversation about what's going to happen and consent. It was pretty painful and I didn't get a warning or anything before she just started the exam, I would have appreciated a conversation along the lines of 'let me know when you are ready.' Or 'is it ok if I ______?' It starts to feel like you're being processed like a piece of meat..
