I was very satisfied with the care and professional service that I received at Northwestern Medicine at the Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb. The surgeon, Dr. Farooq, was wonderful. My long time personal doctor, Dr. [ ], is and was wonderful as well. The other doctors at the Hospital, the nursing staff, and all related staff provided outstanding care as well. I really appreciated having this wonderful resource within a couple of miles from my home.

I got to know Dr. Patel when I was hospitalized several years ago when she was a staff member there. When she became a physician at the clinic I was unable to switch to her. When the physician I was seeing at the clinic recently moved I was most fortunate to be able to have her as my physician. She is not just competent but is inclusive of the patient and is thorough in her care.
