Very personable. But too in and out. Have heard that a new Dr that is there is a lot more proactive in tests that could be beneficial. A random chest X-ray for plaque in heart showed that a relative had a mass ( thymoma) that had to be taken out immediately.

He's an ok surgeon, but my hernia mesh surgery was unsuccessful with him and a recurrent hernia developed within 11 weeks after the surgery! Followed up with him on May 23. He referred me to Dr. Shoener in Geneva for laparoscopic surgery hernia repair. He seemed to want to wash his hands of anymore care for my condition. I was left feeling uncared for. I ended up going to Kish NWM ER in Dekalb on May 27 evening because the hernia was bulging and burning. Cat scan was done showing the hernia was larger than the original one. l feel that Dr. Goldman's should have ordered such a CT scan during my May 23rd follow up with him! I'm very disappointed.
