Doctor Soares took the time to listen to my concerns and act STAT to ensure they were put to rest. He taught me the true (not cliche) meaning of STAT. In less than 1 hour, with the quick assist of the Lab and Imaging departments at Kishwauke Hospital, I went from concerned that my UTI was still lingering and 2 kidney stones causing very bloody urine discharge to conclusively verifying all was OK. As I waited for the test results at Kish a warm, friendly and considerate man handed me a cell phone saying my doctor was on the phone. I was in the ladies waiting room and he discreetly waited in the hall. Dr. Spares was on the phone? Too incredible! Sure doctors talk to patients on Tele-visits but test results made all the women in the room strain to hear me. The kidney stones are still small enough to pass naturally and not doing actual damage to my kidney still and put me on a week more of the antibiotic. He will speak to me more this coming week at our office visit. The truly mind blowing thing is that I'm a new patient to him yet he treats all patients with the same professional, compassionate, thorough, experienced surgeon and great bedside manner. He is a keeper the ladies were chatting asking me (after I hung up) who was this doctor, what specialty was he in and what his name is. Seems everybody wants a doctor like mine. Including me!
