Dr. Stein genuinely cares about his patients. He listens to all of my concerns and includes me in my health care decisions. He never shames me when my sugar levels are high. He encourages me to make changes in my lifestyle and makes me feel in control.

He listened. He looked at my file prior to my appointment, and had an idea of what my health history was. He was knowledgeable. His demeanor was calm and respectful. He seems to be conservative with meds and put together a treatment plan that makes sense. Seems to be available for contact, if I have any problems or concerns, moving forward.

He is a great listener and doesnt further shame or guilt patients who have had life get in the way of their self-management. Northwestern needs more physicians like him. He remains up to date on current endocrinology and is a wonderful resource if a patient has questions.
