Initially not pleased with visit, but as I see her more, I feel better about care I am receiving.she has had to cancel twice. Hard to see or even video chat if there is an illness that needs addressing immediately

I thought she was nice. I was disappointed to see weight loss ads in the exam room, which referred to BMI. The BMI is an inaccurate and arbitrary measure of “health,” so I would urge Northwestern Medicine to explore a health at every size approach. Advising people to lose weight can be triggering for people with a history of disordered eating. Yes, even fat people can be anorexic. And they know they’re fat! An approach that tells people to lose weight ignores underlying conditions and reduces likelihood that they’ll even go in for preventive care or catch serious health issues early.
