Same as above, I tried to explain to the doctor my desire to work towards getting off meds.He was not interested , I am really not sure why I am even on blood pressure meds I currently don't have high blood pressure?

Was referred to him by a friend. He is a good Doctor ! First time I saw him he gave the extract medicine my dermatologist use to give.

Dr. Stavig does a great job in general. Visits are always prompt and to the point. He does take all the time needed and I do not feel rushed.

All qualities that a patient would like to see in their physician are present in Dr. Stavig. He is considerate; in listening to concerns and choosing best approach to addressing same. He follows up with patient and encourages timely rechecks. His explanations and rationales are concise and understandable. Dr. Stavig is the definition of conscientious.

The doctor ordered a blood panel for me and I could do the testing (after fasting for 10 hours) the following day at NM Urgent Care. The NM Urgent Care is opened at 7:30 am. I arrived at 8:10 am the following day and the office was closed. There were several other patients that were waiting as well. There were no signs posted on the glass doors that the office was 'closed'. I had to drive to the Bloomingdale location. It would have been more professional and coureous to patients to have a posting that the Urgent Care office was closed.
