Very attentive physician who took a very comprehensive history and completed a very thorough exam. He explained many details and rationale for self care and healthy lifestyles. He made sure my questions were answered and made sure I understood everything explained to me.

Beside being an accomplished cardiologist, esp in ACHD, he comes across as a good/honest person and seem to care about his patients' cardiac and overall well-being/care. Never rushes through the session; listens and responds well to my health issues/concerns. Basically, I trust him and his expertise/advice re my ACHD cardiac issues.

Dr. De Freitas was incredibly helpful and thorough answering my questions related to lifespan and adult congenital heart defects. I really appreciated his willingness to discuss potential adverse outcomes of CHD and monitoring procedures, as well as an honesty that this field is relatively new with corrective surgeries for TOF only being around 60 years old.
