The doctor is conscientious and quite thorough. On the other hand, he faces his computer screen and the electronic machine directs his questions, and the machine seems to require certain forms of evidence, such as verification from another physician, rather than accept my word on a matter concerning my medical history. It seems that the electronic machinery is controlling the examination, rather than simply being a tool that facilitates the practice. I would prefer a face to face consultation, one that is far less impersonal. The computer controlled examination seems like defensive medical practice at its worst..
