I had a Cortizone shot today and I was not able to have it at my last visit because of prescription medication ([RX] dose pack -Steroid) that I had had in my system prior for another diagnosis of pseudo gout located in my left hand- thumb joint. She’s informed me that we should wait to see if the pain returns to my knee and allow the steroid to work out of my system first before administering the shot. Sure enough it returned but it was not as bad as it had been. I still needed to come in for the shot. I respect her ability to make suggestions and talk through the process so I understand the why. I love Shareikka and I love having Reikka for my PA-C, she is amazing. She always goes above and beyond to explain in detail everything I need to know. Not only is she very professional, she has an excellent bedside manner. I appreciate and trust her judgment and I honestly enjoy my visits every time. I would highly recommend them absolutely.
