She takes my concerns seriously and encourages me to share my health experiences with my sister, Who is also a primary care physician. I’ve experienced doctors in the past who haven’t been too happy about that.

I have many different health conditions, including a rare neuromuscular disease, Isaac's Neuromyotonia. I have a pretty crazy health/medical/surgical history overall. Specialists don't quite know what to do with me because they've never had a patient like me. But Dr. Kalelkar takes the time to help me sort things out. She cares. She is empathetic. She is my touchstone. And she is an excellent doctor. NM is fortunate to have her!

"Dr. K." as I call her, has been the ideal primary care physician to me for years. I have a complex medical history, including a rare neuromuscular disease, and I count on her to kind of be my "touchstone" between all of the issues and all of the physicians in other medical groups. She has a lot to deal with when I'm there; lots to listen to; and she does it with great kindness, patience and empathy. I trust her implicitly and I am so grateful for her.
