I recently fractured my spine. I made an appointment with Dr. Katta for treatment, and upon evaluation from his nurse Brenda it was determined that the type of injury I have is not what they commonly treat. Instead of sending me on my way Dr. Katta personally called a colleague and got me an appointment right away to be treated. He even expedited my MRI so that I could get my procedure completed urgently to assist in my pain relief. Brenda also checked on me via phone, and made sure that I understood everything going on . In the short amount of time that I interacted with Dr. Katta I can say that is one of the most patient, kind, and caring provider I have seen in a very long time. I felt like he genuinely cared about me, even though this is the first time we had met. He exceeded my expectation and would have scored him and his staff higher if it were an option.

He is a very good doctor. He explains everything so his patient understands their treatment and makes you comfortable and and ease. I would highly recommend him and am planning to continue to see him for more pain relief.

I came to this office back in May. Imaging was done to my back and I was told that I had a herniated disk pushing on my sciatic nerve, I was given a spinal injection for this which did nothing for my pain…. I have been referred to other physicians who refused to see me because “my MRI didn’t look that bad� …… and I was sent away from an appointment with neurosurgery because the nurse scheduled it wrong and they would not accommodate me even though it was their error!!!!! I have been in pain for 4 months and have yet to receive any type of diagnosis! And NO one will help me!!!!! I’m a registered nurse!! I know this is malpractice!! I received an “after visit summary� for an appointment that never occurred! If I get a bill for this I will take this higher to an attorney! I have waited four months for a diagnosis and no one has done anything to help me!!!

Dr. Katta was wonderful, going over my x-rays carefully, being very thorough with his questions and exam, and making sure I clearly understood everything we talked about. He made some recommendations and outlined a plan of attack for my pain. The only thing that bothered me is that he was looking at x-rays from 3 years ago and didn't take another set to see if the spine had degenerated further.
