She listens attentively, and provides honest answers to questions from the patient. She explains her view of what needs to be done and the order in which it should unfold. However she does accept comments, concerns & feedback from the patient. She allows the patient the freedom to advocate for themselves. Not all doctors are comfortable with allowing the patient this right!
