I have insufficient reasons, perhaps; just two or three sessions. A major reason was the support of another oncologist, of great, successful experience and reputation. I have seen the doctor you are currently surveying in very few sessions--maybe two or three; perhaps one or two more. My response may vary with the passage of time. It may be significant that in prior years I never knew or met the doctor in this position. This one appears to be accessible and skilled in human relations. That's excellent. And again, I would say that, had I known going in of the brilliance of the nursing staffs, I would have possibly--perhaps likely--have chosen this clinic, even though at that time I had a stronger preference. Overall, the great thing about this clinic is that everyone, low rank to high, is civil, polite, and determined to work with the patients to improve what may even be hopeless cases. And they make that seem clinical, professional, chosen--not just necessary. No one wants to go in feeling like a nobody. No one will in this clinic. This is perhaps its best asset, other than the technical/professional. I've evaluated other clinics; I've worked in one (administrative, clinical, and creative). I am happy to be of support of the personnel of the specializations that are, one hopes, keeping me alive.
