Obviously, he is an excellent surgeon. He also has a very direct and open manner, answers questions, explains terms, and gives me a good picture of what is going on during follow-up. I think the fact that I'm very compliant in PT and work hard at getting stronger and reducing my residual pain helps our conversations. And he actually laughs with me occasionally.

Out of the four oncologist's I've had since my cancer journey started seven years ago, Dr. Saghir has proven to be the one whose opinion I trust the most. He is very calm, patient, answers all my questions, and asks his own to make sure he understands my concerns and health history. He is the first doctor who goes over every test, explains the results so I can understand them. He is considerate, apologetic when he got delayed with another patient, but that's understandable considering he devotes his full attention to each and every patient.

Dr. Bayer is the most caring, knowledgeable doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. His bedside manner is positive, empathetic and he really cares about his patients quality of life. He stays current with medicine, treatments, and takes the time to discuss treatment WITH his patients-not AT his patients. Although he is brilliant, he speaks in terms that helps his patients understand treatments and what to expect. He is realistic and always puts his patients needs ahead of his own time. He is and will be my go-to doctor for cancer care as long as I can, he is a shining star above all others!
