I have 2 friends with Parkinson's who are not treated at Northwestern, and their care has been far less. I've gotten speech therapy (they need it but it was never recommended). I've gotten meds for anxiety and depression (they need it but it was never recommended). I love how my neurologist specializes in movement disorders; how she works with a multi-disciplinary team; and how she stays up on the new treatments.

I had been to Mayo Clinic for my problem but saw Dr Dahdaleh for a second opinion and a neurosurgeon close to home.I was very impressed with his bedside manner, the level of detail he discussed during the appointments. He always does a thorough examination and discusses various options. I decided to have surgery with him( instead of the Mayo Clinic). Dr Dahdaleh’s visits were thorough and yet exudes kindness.
