My first patient encounter with Dr. Manuel was a telehealth visit. He was caring, personable, knowledgeable, and a good listener. I didn’t feel rushed during the visit. He took his time to explain everything and asked several times if I had any questions. I left the visit confident that I had selected the right Gastroenterologist for me.

He was knowledgeable and explained things about my medication that hadn’t been explained to me before. Was somewhat rushed and slightly dismissive. When I asked about symptom relief, he assumed I was looking for medications; however I was looking for lifestyle ideas - he didn’t suggest anything other than titrating my current medication and pretty much said there was birthing I could do. I would see him for a procedure since he seemed to know his expertise well.
