As explained above, Dr Afana did an Outstanding job of saving my life after I had a heart attack on December [ ] and was taken to Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital. My March [ ] visit was my first with him. He did an Outstanding job of researching my medical history before the visit, examining me, communicating with me and my daughter, who is a doctor of internal medicines. I am fortunate that Dr Afana has accepted me as a patient and is expertly directing my medical care and recovery from my heart attack.

Dr Christopher George never rushes, always listens and explains with clarity on all the topics we have discussed. Dr. [ ] referred me to him when I was first diagnosed with cancer. After calling his office, I was told he wasn’t taking new patients. I was scared, confused and just wanted the care my surgeon recommended to me. Needless to say his assistant asked him because I think at this point I was pleading. He made the exception to see me . That takes great compassion to make an exception with an already full schedule. He shows he is a human being before showing you he is a knowledgeable Dr. That in itself speaks volumes. God Bless his knowledge and kindness…
