Dr. Avella is an amazing person. He is an excellent surgeon, thorough, explained everything clearly and was honest and direct in his recommendations. On top of that he is a wonderful, kind man. He went above anything I would ever have expected to make sure I was feeling safe & cared for. He called me the night before my surgery to reassure me that the surgery was going to go well. He came & saw me before surgery and several times afterwards. He called my son & explained everything to him. I am so impressed with him as a surgeon and as an amazing person!
