I have not had this type of problem before. The doctor mentioned that it could be 'diabetic shoulder.' I have no idea what this means. It would have been helpful to have a nurse practitioner or physical therapist take the time to explain more about my situation or perhaps literature to read. On another matter of concern--in the waiting room for the suite, there is a lovely artwork of cut-out flowers by Julia Barello. The medium is described as 'Laser-cut and died x-ray film, nylon, steel.' This is not my typo--rather than DYED, the film is described as DIED. Given that this label is in a hospital, this is somewhat creepy.
