I would give her a 100 if I could. I am HLA-B27 positive but I don't fit into any neat box for AS or any related conditions even though I had inflammatory flares, uveitis, gout, etc. Dr. Mahieu was the first rheumatologist who listened to me and who was determined to reduce my pain. I have a way to go but for the first time I have hope.

He has correctly diagnosed me w/disorders that a specialist would normally diagnose. Heâ€™s got the best Internist Team in Chicago! Furthermore, he doesnâ€™t rush your appointment. Very thorough & thoughtful about his treatment.
