She was just so good with my son. Patient and tried to keep him calm by keeping him involved in getting checked out. She was also good about explaining to us what she saw and how she wanted to go about treating him.

I presented with possible cellulitis. Due to a side effect of Prolia, I have had 5 cases in 3.5 years. Kate had reviewed these cases, including photos prior to entering the room. As the daughter and sister of doctors, I’m a fairly informed patient. Kate picked up on this. While ‘normally’ the level of inflammation would not rule in cellulitis it could not be ruled out. I did not want to take high doses of antibx if not needed. We agreed that a prescription would be called in, and I would monitor any expansion carefully.

She went out of her way to treat, and care for my ailment, right on the spot, instead of just refering me to another Doctor. She did (as well). Refer me to a Doctor that could treat my condition in the future. Not only that, but when I had additional concerns, and questions she came back to address them. I wonder if there is information in my chart about my past visits at NorthWestern, if she was genuinally treating me as she would any patient that she sees.I would hope that anyone, and everyone, would be treated in such a fashion when receiving care from a Doctor.
