Before coming to NW Urgent Care, I went to a minute clinic and was diagnosed with a bacterial infection and was prescribed antibiotics and a topical treatment. After a day of taking the meds, I realized they weren't working and wanted to get a second opinion. Dr. Doyle recognized immediately that I had shingles. She prescribed an anti-viral. Because of the quick appointment time and assessment by Dr. Doyle, I was able to start the anti-viral which stopped the virus in its tracks and I'm deeply thankful. Dr. Doyle also put a referral in to see an ophthalmologist and I ended up seeing Dr. [full name] (259 erie) which was excellent. All-in-all, I went into the urgent care around 9:00 AM, and scheduled a same day appointment to see Dr. [last name] thanks to the referral from Dr. Doyle. I'm 38 and healthy so this came as a huge surprise to me and I can't thank the team enough for putting me on the path to recovery as soon as possible.
