Josie Shapiro showed true professionalism as she carefully calmed down my daughter, who was panicked over having a throat swab for a sore throat. She showed leadership in the exam room but with such a kind, caring human touch. She kept me informed on symptoms to watch for and, along with the medical assistant also there (I am sorry I didn’t get her name), achieved getting the sample. We walked away hoping Northwestern knows what great employees they have! I hope Josie Shapiro gets to read this because we want to sincerely thank her!!!! We thank her and the other medical professional there on that day - Wednesday morning 7/31/24. Thank you!
