I chose him as our family's PCP and just brought my daughter to him for the first time for her 7 year well check. He barely spoke to her, mainly to me (mom), and was just going through the checklist of what to do at a well visit. It was a missed opportunity to teach a small child that doctors are good people who care about your wellbeing and you can talk to them about anything. I want my family at the same doctor and I think he is better with adults so we will keep going to him as we very gratefully have healthy children with no concerns about development.
