Dr. Mompetit takes the time to ask how you are doing, any new symptoms/changes but also listen to your responses. Engages with you on how to achieve goals to get healthier and continue in that success. She reviewed other medical conditions on my chart and tied them into my total care.

I called several times for the past few weeks not feeling well. She finally decided to see me. She does not check my potassium, magnesium, kidney levels regularly. It months in between. She teats me as if I caused my own heart failure and weight gain. She makes me fell like I’m disgusting and not worthy of be her patient because I’m obese. I have never missed pills this much and I was honest about really struggling to do things my self and I’m not sleeping well. I feel nauseous, more anxious. Her response was find a hobby. Get out of my chair more and get on a better sleep pattern and try mediation.

Several years ago when I came to her for a second opinion, she literally saved my life finding a 100% blockage where I had a stent placed one year before by a cardiologist in a different practice. She also adjusted my medications restoring me to a normal life. No cardio problems since she became my cardiologist.
