In spite of a very hectic schedule, Dr. Pipitone took her time to provide expertise with my surgery, answering all of my questions, and ensuring all was done in a calming space. Her nurse Ravina is an absolute star!! She is outgoing, knowledgeable, friendly and super caring. Great communicator that provided great information, answered all my questions, and ensured I felt comfortable during the entire process. Have to say, she was the best nurse I have ever encountered at NW. Suggestion - it would help to prepare patients in advance. I had no idea that I would not be able to do any heavy lifting for 2 weeks post-surgery nor did I realize that the incision would be as long as it was. This impacted some other medical-related appointments I had as well as plans to take care of my active 7-year old grandson next week. Being prepared in advance would be most helpful.
