My PC was not available, and I haven’t always had success with those who don’t know my history. Dr.Stewart was available same day, kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to ask good questions as well as looking through my medical history. He listened and didn’t doubt me. (For example, the temperature the nurse took did not show a fever. I told him that I had just sipped my iced-tea & that I had been taking my temperature for days, including that day & it was consistently 99.3 or 99.5, which for me IS an elevated temp. And i worried that I could be misdiagnosed if he thought my temp was normal. He completely understood & we went from there. This may not seem like a big deal, but I have literally argued with urgent care doctors (usually young) who tell me with all certainty that a 99.3 or 5 or whatever is NOT considered a fever & they go from there! Not fun.

Dr Stewart conducts very thorough interviews and exams, and provides sound advice and recommendations with optimal health the goal for both body and mind/spirit. He communicates and connects with his patients on the most personal of levels. I wish him the happiest of retirements but as a long time patient of his, he be will be sorely missed.
