Dr. McGuire is truly one of the best surgeons out there. My surgery, post op recovery and follow up care went really well and I feel I am in great hands. Every visit is smooth, I suffer from anxiety and Dr. McGuire really takes the time to explain everything in detail, always maintaining an optimistic and compassionate approach. Every now and then he throws in a little humour to break the tension, especially when I’m nervous about my health.

I had some complications post surgery and Dr. McGuire was helping me thru it all. He was immediately available to intervene and get me back on track. I am lucky to have Dr. McGuire as my urologist and so is Northwestern Medicine.

Dr. McGuire is very smart, well-educated and experienced. As busy as he is, he is always willing to answer all of my questions. He visited me every day during a recent hospital stay of seven days at Lake Forest Hospital and always kept me informed. He has a warm friendly manner. Could not ask for more. I see him twice a year for urology procedure s and have developed great confidence
