This was the first time I have been seen by Maria Pekic. She had made herself familiar with my history, asked appropriate questions, and provided a thorough exam. The outcome was very reassuring and I will return in 6 months. I felt that the appointment met the standards expected of NW.

Maria was compassionate and caring. She took time to calm me down when I was so nervous and scared. She explained every step of the process and always made sure I was tolerating it ok before proceeding. She made an experience much less traumatic than I had previously experienced at a different facility. Thank you Maria. I really appreciate all you did for me.

I did not feel there was any type of sense of urgency or real concern. She did inform me that three surgeons went to University of Chicago which is concerning with all the miscommunication I've been having.
