I have been going to Dr. Colo for years. She is not an alarmist, has always been right on target with diagnosis, takes the time to explain things - in short, she is fantastic. If she were to leave NM Dermatology and align herself with another institution, I would follow her, so long as it was located in or around Chicago.

She listened to my concerns and gave thoughtful, professional guidance on how best to manage my skin care. She provided reassurance when I brought up concerns and debated if cosmetic issues needed to be addressed. She has great bedside manner. Bedside manner of the the med student with her was dismal, but they have a good teacher and example to follow and learn from.

My first meeting with her..she was beyond wonderful. Patient, listens, extremely smart, makes you feel so comfortable. You leave feeling relieved and with a plan and also knowing she is available if/when you need her.

Hands down the BEST. She listens to the patient and tries to understand the problem and she explain things very well. Its clear that she cares and is the only Dermatologist that was actually able to fix my problem. I recommend her every time someone says they are looking for a Dermatologist.
