Margaret has been very good about working on figuring out what may (or may not) be causing my pain. In addition to asking questions, she has probed (pressed) parts of my spine to see where pressure may indicate the source of the pain. Also, when I first started seeing her, I explained that some of my previous PT at IL Bone & Joint Institute may have made some things worse, and showed her the printouts of their exercises. That has guided her in decisions about which exercises may help me. She’s also shown me computer images (anatomy drawings) of the specific muscles that are involved in my pain, so I have a better understanding of what’s going on.
