Dr. Pyka always explains and inquires if I have any questions or concerns. He is compassionate to my outside concerns - the stresses stemming from my 4 year old grandson’s brain tumor and chemo. Dr. Pyka realized my lack of exercise over the last 6 months is due to worry, stress and weariness. He was reassuring and encouraging and I left my appointment feeling I had been listened to and understood. That really helps to give me a renewed determination to take care of my health

Only had two encounters with him. First when I was a patient and he recommended and encouraged a Pacemaker and gave reasons. Just yesterday I saw him as a 'last examination when he checked me and said I was progressing fine; I would like to have seen him more often so as to get his opinions and encouragement.
